DRY SKIN

Humans are 70% water. If they don’t get enough of it, the first thing that suffers is their skin.

And everyone’s aware of the consequences: dry skin, a feeling of tightness, dryness,

wrinkles, signs of not enough moisture in the epidermis – and all despite the regular

application of moisturising products.

What Causes Dry Skin?

External influences such as solar radiation, cold temperatures, wind, heat, stress, a lack of

sleep and eating the wrong things also have a negative impact on the sensitive skin of our

faces. There is only one way to keep it looking young and radiant, and that is to meet the

skin’s most basic need by supplying it with enough moisture.

The causes of chapped rough skin may be either from lipid deficient skin or moisture

deficient skin. Lipid deficient skin is lacking in lipids due to a decline in sebum production.

Intensive care with a high lipid content is important to protect this skin. Whilst moisture

deficient skin is usually plentifully available in dry, moisture deficient skin. The skin is

lacking moisture and requires a care product low in lipid content. These two care products

will increase the skins moisture binding capacity and provide optimal protection against small

wrinkles caused by dryness.

Treatment Options at Beauty Concept Salon

Bespoke Clinical Facial

A bespoke clinical facial is a personalized treatment tailored to your skin’s needs. It starts

with a consultation, followed by cleansing, exfoliation, steam, and extractions if needed. A

customized mask is applied, then a relaxing facial and head massage to boost circulation. The

treatment ends with facial and eye serums, moisturizer, and SPF to protect your skin and

enhance the results.Ameson Chemical Peel

Ameson Mesopeel is a professional chemical peeling system based on unbuffered organic

acids for skin’s renewal, brightness, and softness, aimed at rejuvenating, regenerating,

hydrating, normalising, activating, or enhancing the skin. Chemical peels will stimulate

collagen, elastin, and hyaluronic acid production by increasing cell mitosis, and increasing

topical product permeability.

Microneedling

Microneedling is a skin treatment that uses tiny needles to create micro-injuries in the skin,

stimulating collagen production and improving texture. It helps reduce fine lines, acne scars,

and overall skin tone, leaving the skin smoother and more radiant.

No-Needle Mesotherapy/ Electroporation

No-needle mesotherapy (electroporation) treatment is pain-free, with no injections and no

recovery period. Electroporation or Needle-Free Mesotherapy, is an advanced treatment that

uses gentle pulses of electrical current, opening the pores for milliseconds in order to

penetrate customised serums depending on the client/s needs and skin type into the deeper

dermal layers. Allows a targeted penetration of up to 70% of active substances into the skin!

Vacuum Suction Therapy

Vacuum-induced lymphatic stimulation aids in blood circulation and lymphatic flow. This

helps to detoxify the body by channelling toxins and wastes through the body’s regular

pathways of elimination. Anyone can benefit from it but it is particularly suitable for dry skin,

dull skin, congested skin, acne and anyone with a suspected sluggish lymph.
